BARBARA WALKER
Barbara Walker is an artist that I have only recently become aware of. She provided an artist talk at the Collection Museum in Lincoln, as part of the University of Lincoln artist talk programme.
Her work focuses upon the depiction of
human social context, introducing aspects concerning class, representation,
power and belonging.
Her oil paintings and her charcoal
drawings are exquisite, the meticulous attention to detail, captures a very
photo realistic depiction and an emotive narrative can be transcribed
from this intensity of relationship.
