Finally made a visit to a little Anselm
Kiefer show at the Royal Academy last night. I urge everyone to go, he's really
explored the opportunities available to him, in refection upon scale, media,
the visuality of the pieces and the overall tactility and relation to the real
world in question. Overwhelming from both a philosophical and psychological
premise. Go on Friday evening, it's open until 10pm and much quieter, you can
really appreciate the work and especially the curation of the show in its
entirety.
